For those who are nervous of flying or for whatever reason cannot fly, but wish to see the airfields, a ground tour may be undertaken. This tour can be made in true style in three famous types of car. Travel in either a magnificent 1932 open top Continental Lagonda (appropriate clothing can be supplied), a 1939 Rover or a 1964 Alvis, a type driven by the famous Second World War Battle of Britain fighter ace, Group Captain Douglas Bader. A further example of this type of motorcar was seen being driven by actor Stephen Fry in the recent ITV series "Kingdom". Your days tour can be pleasantly interrupted by a champagne picnic "somewhere" in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. If this tour sounds appealing, please ask for more details when telephoning Robert Gibson-Bevan.
